What changed
The filtering stage made four separate passes over the data array -- each computing an independent metric. This loop consolidated all four into a single pass that collects every metric in one traversal, reducing the number of full array scans at the filtering layer.
Why we expected it to work
Multiple sequential scans of the same array means redundant cache misses and iteration overhead. Merging them should improve cache locality and eliminate redundant array traversals. On large data sets the difference compounds.

Why it didn't work
The filtering layer accounts for a fraction of total pipeline time. Even a significant iteration reduction at that layer saves under 1ms -- undetectable against measurement variance. The optimization is algorithmically sound and improves code quality (multiple functions reduced to one), but the bottleneck is query execution at 99% of total time. The gain will surface only at much larger data volumes.
